Customer Partnership

Customer Partnership

Customers are the foundation of our company. We fully understand our responsibility and are committed to providing each customer with a beautiful quality home. As part of our commitment to you, McMillin Homes developed a unique homebuyer’s program—Partnering with Our Customer.

The Partnering with Our Customer program guides you through each step of building your new home. Four meetings scheduled with your Construction Superintendent keeps you fully informed with the construction progress. Through years of experience, we know this level of communication ensures that you become part of the process, which is essential to McMillin Homes providing you with the best home possible.

In addition to the Partnering with Our Customer program, McMillin Homes provides a special website for our homebuyers to ensure timely and accurate communication. The Customer Concern website is a convenient way for homebuyers to submit any concerns they may have concerning their new home. Customers will find an easy to complete Customer Concern form that will go directly to the appropriate McMillin Homes employee for immediate review.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to build your new home, and allowing us to turn your dream home into a reality.

Buyer Walk 1: Meet Your Builder

This meeting, hosted by your Sales Counselor, is scheduled soon after issuance of the "Released for Construction" form and introduces you to your personal Construction Superintendent. The meeting identifies the best means of communicating for all parties, as well as reviewing all change orders, color selections and plans. At this initial meeting, we will show you how your new home will be positioned on your homesite.

Buyer Walk 2: Pre-Sheetrock Orientation

This meeting takes place before the home is sheetrocked. Your personal Construction Superintendent walks you through the home and reviews your change orders and location of changes. The Construction Superintendent will point out the quality of our construction, including your foundation, framing, plumbing, A/C, heating, electrical and security systems, if applicable. Your home’s estimated completion date will be set at this time.

Buyer Walk 3: Homebuyer Orientation

This meeting will occur approximately one week before your closing date. Your personal Construction Superintendent will guide you through the completed home providing you with information on home systems as well as information on our warranty program. The Construction Superintendent will answer any questions you may have and note any concerns that need to be addressed before closing.

Buyer Walk 4: Final Walk Through

This meeting occurs just before closing and provides you with the opportunity to verify that the list of concerns identified at the Homebuyer Orientation have been addressed. At this meeting, your personal Construction Superintendent will present you with a Certificate of Completion. This important document must be signed before going to closing, and ensures your home is complete and ready for you to start enjoying. At closing you will receive a survey to let us know how we have done throughout the entire process.
